Creativity. Dignity. Joy.

At the Raleigh Music Collective, students’ lives are transformed through excellent, accessible, and equitable music education.
We believe music education is an incredible tool to radically transform childrens' lives for the better. Whether a student is participating in orchestra and technique classes at our nucleo, diving into their first year of learning a string instrument at a community hub, or working one on one with a teacher in our lessons studio, our students are given the opportunity to thrive in a supportive community regardless of background.
We aim to foster a diverse community of young musicians whose lives are changed through the power of music education.
Fall Programming is full but we do have a waitlist for students with playing experience!
Use the button below to fill out your information and we will contact you once a spot opens up. We do not accept brand new beginners midway through the year in our orchestral program, but you can sign your child up for a one on one lesson.
Does your student want to focus on developing their solo instrument skills?
We have a vibrant and rigorous lessons studio where students have the opportunity to hone to skills in a supportive and hands on environment. Use the button below to sign up
“Over the years, I have been a part of the Raleigh Music Collective and it has made such a positive impact on my life and to others. Its unwavering dedication to the art of music and its positive impact on our community is truly praiseworthy. I’ve never seen so much growth from my playing skills from any other program, and I’m so grateful to be around such amazing musicians.”

“RMC is one of the most amazing programs I’ve been in. Many new students are coming through and making new friends. Our teachers have been working so hard to provide us instruments and many other things too. ”
—Daniel P., violinist
“The Raleigh Music Collective teachers are so amazing at what they do because they pick up on and develop social, emotional, and physical parts of a student. Through music learning, our refugee students get to grow in their holistic education, especially their social and physical skills. It not only helps them become better students, but better people.”
